I love using twitter, it is a great way to let out what's in your mind and read what others have to say. I don't have many twitter related pet peeves, but I do know which is my main one. It is the use of the "favorite" option. There is something I don't understand and it bothers me, like when somebody has more favorites than tweets, uhm, why?  There are many reasons to which someone may press the favorite button, I, for example, only do it because: - I liked the tweet and want to save it. - I want to have access to it later. - It interests me but I don't have time to read it in that instant. - I would favorite a tweet to remember (Example. the first time somebody shared one of my blog posts, or in general when somebody new shares something of mine). I don't keep them there forever though, usually only until I read the article, then after I read it I un-favorite it. Currently I have under 70 "favorite" tweets and I think th...

Day 21. Your Dream Vacation I want to tell y'all about the one place I've dreamt of visiting since I found out about it.  Flashback to the '90s; If I had a yearbook with me i'd be able to tell you the exact year, but I don't so let's flashback to second grade. T here are few things I remember from this said grade, I remember it is my second favorite elementary school year (see what I did there?), and I remember  stuff I learned during this year, here are the two that most impacted me: One was where we were learning about caves. We built one in the classroom and we got to take turns going inside and looking at all the glitter/stars/tiny holes etc glued to the walls. this was fun for me, I hope they're still doing this in some schools.If not then I'll do one for Avi when she's older and she can help me decorate it and then see the final "product." This prompt was a little difficult for me to answer, but I think if I keep it short, it's totally doable! Now, I've never been afraid of spiders, in fact, when I was younger and visiting my dad I saw one on the floor it looked little and harmless I decided to kill it, but when I did, a thousand (maybe more, maybe less) little spiders started crawling out of it. I got so freaked out! My dad had to fix this I have no idea how he did.. never again did I make that mistake. Day 19 There are so many things that make me happy, these are the ones that make me happy the most: Spending time as a family.   Whether we are watching a movie together, playing a game, or just going to the park. Spending time with my family makes me a happier person. Pictures.   It's nice to have these on any given day. Especially being away from my family, it makes me happy to be able to look back and remember. Crossing items off our bucket list.   This is something that should make everyone happy! I haven't really posted my Bucket list on here. Today's prompt is about secrets. We're supposed to share something about ourselves, and basically the only thing I can think of is something I shared with you yesterday and something I had mentioned was a Unkown fact about me in my ABC's of Me . Nothing to juicy (as you might be expecting people to spill) but I am a Netflix binge watcher, and today I am going to share some of my favorite shows that I have seen on here over the past two years. How I Met Your Mother   I think it is a given that everyone likes this show, even if the ninth season was not at all what we were expecting, they could've focused more on life with the mom, than the meeting her part (hehe). Day 17. This is a fun one, especially since nobody can be an expert at one thing, There's always good and bad things you can be an expert at, Here are some of mine: Procrastination.-- I am a bit of a procrastinator. A good example is when it comes to dinner time, I don't always do this, but at times I stay a little while longer than I should on the computer before I actually begin making it. #donthate for this same reason I schedule it early. via Which leads me to another thing I'm an expert at, spending time on the computer , which can be good for the blog...and connecting with friends and family back home. Day 16 of the blog everyday in October challenge,  I wonder If I'll stop opening posts with that line? Maybe, maybe not. Anyways, today's prompt is: Favorite fall outfit. I'm excited to write about this because this year is the first year that I actually get to wear a fall outfit, Before moving to Germany we didn't really experience fall, it is still warm this time a year in Mx and South Texas.. When we first got here I would wear my normal clothes, jeans and a jacket I don't really like cold weather.. But over the past two years I've gotten over that, and adapted to this wonderful season. Now I can wear tights/leggings with a long shirt and a scarf and (maybe a light jacket) not die of coldness! Today, on the 15th day of the blog everyday in October Challenge I will tell you a little about my favorite quote by telling you the story of us--how we met.  It has to do with the year Pablo and I started going out.  We met in 2007, I started working in a call center and had already been there for a couple of weeks, almost ready to start taking calls. I met him when my training group started 'on the job' training (we were paired up with tenured people) to shadow them. This was the first time we were going to take calls, I chose to be sat with this stranger, who looked like he knew what he was doing. This was the second time we were doing this, so I had an idea of what to do. I took my first call and I almost had to transfer the call to a supervisor, my bad.. Day 14. So today's prompt in the blog everyday challenge is "What is the Funniest Memory from Childhood". I love my cousins. We always have fun when we get together,  So naturally many of my funniest childhood memories are with them.  There are so many funny memories, but some of them should not be posted on here or anywhere on the internet for that matter. Except, maybe when I recently brought it up in our whatsapp group and made everyone crack up for a while, hehe! And well, one of my funniest memories is when my cousin was visiting from Mexico and we didn't  have anything to do, so I decided we should start prank calling.  She didn't know about the neat *67 trick since it's not available over there. My favorite fall food is pumpkin pie and sometimes apple cobbler [mainly, the one they always gave out at thanksgiving lunch at school when I was little]. But I've never tried making my own so I will not be sharing those recipes. Would you believe me if I told you I have never cooked/baked anything pumpkin or squash related? It's true! My all time favorite recipe is a pretty simple dessert that everybody loves! Have you ever thought to add marshmallows to your fruit salad? My aunt does this all the time, and it makes it taste even better. I've been eating this thing at family gatherings since I was very little, an aunt would always make it for us. Now, today's recipe is not technically a fruit salad, it's also not a "marshmallow fruit salad" since our version only has two fruits, I call it the Marshmallow Plus Salad . because it's fruit plus walnuts, raisins and some other stuff. Usually we just put a little bit of everything into the mixture...

day 12,  What is the best advice I've ever been given?  Well i'm not really sure, but i'd have to say it was one that helped me learn how to save money. A couple of years ago when my sister was starting working for the first time, my dad told her that when he was little and got his first paycheck he gave it to his mom, and that my sister should do the same, (or at least with half of it) to our mom as a sort of thank you for everything she's done up to that date. and while she did do that it was too late for me. And the other money saving piece of advice I received came from Pablo. He taught me that money should not be stupidly spent, but saved up. He taught me to be on a budget and how to spend only what's necessary. I remember getting my first paycheck in Mexico, the first thing I did was buy a bus ticket to McAllen to visit my family and once I got there I bought myself new [work] clothes. I would  actually do something like this with every pay...

I would be an awesome one!  As you can tell today's prompt is what would you do if you were president, but the truth is  I didn't want to be president, it's not the right job for me.  The only president, i'd be willing to be is a [Harry Potter] fan club president, that's a good idea, so many possibilities of activites planned for it's members.   Another type of president i'd be is PTA President. that's doable, plus i'd be involved with my daughter's school, that's always good.
