Happy Easter! I decided to do a recap of my usual end of the month posts. What we've been up to: We spent Friday morning at home, and then went to the movies in the afternoon, #BatmanVsSuperman. Saturday we went for the first time to the Dom, more about that coming in my ABC's of Hamburg Series in April. Sunday morning was spent with friends and their kids. Monday (today) was also like any other Sunday, chilling at home. Linking up with: The Larson Lingo for #WhatsupWednesday. What we did for Easter: Two years ago when we were planning our first egg hunt in Germany we discovered that those refillable plastic eggs are not easily available here.   Fast forward two years and many eggs being brough from the US. We finally have enough to have a fun easter egg hunt with around 200 eggs for approx. 25 kids.  Granted, some of those were Kinder Überaschung (suprise) eggs and I took 15 confetti filled eggs. Need to get rid of clothes but don't want to go through the hassle of selling it? set up a clothes swap with a couple of other friends, trust me the outcome is good for everyone. I saw it first on pinterest and then a mom in one of my groups brought it up. After planning it out, we got together at a her house. She had prepared a little buffet table which some of the guests helped fill with finger food to share. We all took clothes we wanted to get rid of, whether it was clothes that no longer fits, we never wore or a color we never really liked. She had two long tables, a clothes rack, and a shoe section ready for us to fill. We started setting everything up, the before mentioned clothes might be good for someone else. Once everything was set we started "shopping" for new clothes. I didn't get to upload a travel post yesterday since I went to the HMM in  Eppendorf , but you can find my guest post on Cosmos Mariners, it is about a walking tour around Hamburg , hope you enjoy it! I marked the first six stops. Yesterday we were traveling a long way via bus and it got me thinking, if I continue going to these weekly meetings and they are in a different part of the city, maybe I could do a little review about it so my readers could see more of the city we currently live in.  

Hi everyone, how you've been?  Welcome to my first trendy Tuesday (#TrendyTuesday). Here are my outfits created from the 30 pieces I chose for the 30x30 remix challenge for the 1st week. Since May started on a Thursday, this week only has two days. Today was a nice day, we had the HMM at Mac's place and Avi had a really good time, as did I.  It was Addys birthday and we celebrated with cake and margaritas! delish!! I took my camera so I took plenty pics of the everybody, but leider none of me. Hope everyone has an excellent week! My English speaking moms group is one where moms meet once a week to catch up while the children play, but those babies quickly become toddlers, and once they start Kita it is often difficult to make the regular weekly meetings and keep touch with the group directly, so they created a spin-off meeting once a month.. and call it SUPER SUNDAYS. & it's perfect because our significant others have no excuses not to help with the hosting! I had some friends over today for a HMM BBQ and we had an excellent time. I know Pablo doesn't really like hosting stuff, but we both enjoyed today. It was a total of 4 families that were able to come, and the kids sure did have a good time! Happy Easter to whomever is reading this, I hope you had a nice day! This is our second Easter spend abroad, last year we were in Holland cracking eggshells on the beach and this year we met up with some friends at a park downtown. We didn't get to go to church because we had a kiddie Easter egg hunt event today at the same time we usually go to church. My friends and I had been planing this for a while, did you know the fill-able plastic eggs are not available in Germany ? Yepp, we had to improvise, a friend bought some that are meant for decoration purposes, but they got the job done, and then Kinder surprise eggs, and other chocolate eggs, there was a lot of chocolate involved in our improvisation. Our day started really early we got to the park at 9:30 am and stayed until 11:45. I took confetti filled eggs, and two prizes, the way we did it was once all the kids finished finding the eggs we counted them, and the top three got a prize. Eating her Chocolate Egg. ...
