A day trip to Luxembourg

Taking it back a notch and blogging one more time about one of the many day trips we took during our time living in Kaiserslautern last year,

In May we visited Louxembourg City, Luxembourg, which is the financial capital of Europe, I'm really glad we got to visit this wonderful city. It has some nice views. Including it's old town and many boutique filled streets.

Once we got there we saw our options and opted for buying a ticket for the hop on hop off bus since they had a special family rate.

Luxembourg is such a pretty city-even the roof in its central station is decorated:

It has more capital in it's banks and investment funds than any other country in the world. If you have enough time during your visit, go into the bank museum:

Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Luxembourg:
Rue de l'Eau:
Luxembourg has some nice architecture. Here are some of my favorites:
Luxembourg is one of the richest European countries with high living standards.
Auchan shopping center in Kirchberg:

We got off at many of the stops, my favorite one being grund, and old town

After having a mini photo sesh. we got back on the bus one more time heading towards the main station to catch the train that would take us home.

Money Spent:

- We bought a Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket + Luxemburg group day ticket for 35 eur and it took us from Kaiserslautern to Luxembourg.
- The Hop on Hop Off cost us around 20 eur for the three of us.

Did you know?
Although Luxembourg is very small, it is not the smallest country in Europe.
