My Travel Bucket List

Image
A while back I posted a Harry Potter Walking tour by LONDON WALKS, but I opened that post with my bucket list, since it was that weeks' travel tuesday prompt. but I feel like I didn't do the bucket list part justice. and I don't know if you noticed, but I've shared many bucket lists lately, so rewriting my european bucket list seems like a good thing to do, i've seen a ton of posts featuring my cities, and including some of them within this post. I will be re-sharing my European [travel] bucket list. This is my bucket list of places to visit in Europe. I won't be planning anything other than this since we don't know if we'll be traveling to Asia anytime soon, or if we'll be going to Seattle anytime soon either (even though I'd love to). Vienna, Hallstatt, and Salzburg, Austria All three of these are on my list, i'm prioritizing on Vienna, and seconds to Salzburg, and I'd like to visit the castle there. Budapest,...

Back to Back bucket lists! if you don't know what i'm talking about, check out yesterday's post . Also, I had a list of around 15-20 things on my reverse bucket list but I deleted it thanks to me not knowing my way around the German keyboard. #Fail. But it's okay. I remember some of what I had put on there and it gives me a chance to rethink of everything I've accomplished so far..  Today I will be linking up (for the first time) with kiki's The circle link up which is themed "Reverse Bucket List" perfect for the letter R . If you don't know what it is, a reverse bucket list is a bucket list of things you have already done. Here's mine: Went Sky Diving.   Attended a midnight premier. More than one, I went to a couple of the Harry Potter ones. Went to Disney  World   in '99  Went to Disney land    '08 Went snowboarding. Became a Mom. Went on a road trip from Monterrey, MX to Charlotte, NC (with a ...

I'm on a quest for our time in Kaiserslautern, to visit as many towns/cities and castles in this area as possible. Kaiserslautern is an average sort of city. It has everything you expect in a city but it doesn't have a castle... That might not mean much, but it's something we expected to see living in the southern part of the country.  I had set a goal to visit many places that are accessible with Pablo's work ticket. A bucket list of cities and castles near our home,  but then Pablo mentioned he didn't want to visit random little towns since we already live in one. This made me kind of sad, because while there are plenty of castles, most of the places I jotted are just towns, no big  Schwerin -like  castles to show. My VRN (WabenPlan 133) Bucket List. Altdahn Castle Bad Mergentheim is a town in the district Main-Tauber-Kreis district in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Castle Berwartstein (the stairs, passages and ro...

New York City Bucket List

Image
In just four days we will be having an extended layover in this wonderful city. As far as I know there's an endless list of things to do while in NYC. I wish we could do them all, but we will only be here for an afternoon, I have to plan it out good, so i've decided to create a New York City Bucket List. Brooklyn Bridge Source If time permits, I want to take a walk across it, from here I should be able to take many pictures, some blurry some not. Especially of the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan Bridge, the Empire State Building, and the skyline. The Empire state building. Can't go to New York city and not see the empire state building, I know there won't be enough time to go up but at least from the bottom! Rockefeller View the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree as close as I can. A few other must-do's Central Park. Visit the 911 memorial. Do a lot of walking. This is a very short list but yet again. it's only an aft...

If I can. #FallBucketList.

I remember all the autumn crafts we did in school while growing up but I do not remember looking out the window and seeing those pretty colored trees. I really thought I wasn't going to post anything today, but then I decided to go for it. While I don't usually do a seasonal bucket list, I though it'd be cool to begin this tradition.  I decided to do two short lists. I can't do the typical hayride or pumpkin patch, because I wouldn't know how/where to here in Germany--if anyobody knows, let me know! But I am able to go out and enjoy the season while taking some pretty Autumn themed pictures and making some Herbst (autumn) related dishes! Things to Make this Fall Try a new soup recipe Make at least one apple dessert Have a picnic at the park Bake cookies Eat S'mores Things to Photograph this Fall The changing of the leaves Playing in the leaves--this is Avi's favorite thing to do while we're out and about. My favorite fall d...

A Harry Potter walking tour [+Bucket List]

Image
Happy Travel Tuesday! I had a lot of fun in our recent trip to London, the walking tour we took taught us so much, I really do recommend taking one on your first time visit to any city! But that wasn't the only one we took. We I didn't book tickets to the WB Harry Potter studios so we missed out on that big time. Instead, I booked us a Harry Potter themed tour with London Walks. Want to know what that entails? Read on! But first, since today is the last tuesday of the month and I'm, taking part in the Travel Tuesday Link up, I figured I'd include a little bit of today's theme in this post... WHAT'S IN YOUR BUCKET LIST? This got me thinking, and while we have visited most of the cities that are in our European bucket list. We still have quite a few to go, I’m listing the ones that were in our original list, you can also find my European Travel Bucket List in its own post. I wish to visit these cities at some point in the (near) future. While ...
