Itried to think up of Five things to share today, but I couldn't so I'm going to share a bunch of randomness divided into four categories. Five posts with the least number of views. I started organizing my blog posts, making new images for the old posts, as I finally found a good enough layout to use. As I was going to them and updating the main picture I noticed that some of my posts have very little views/ These are posts I have yet to do the image for, but I am leaving the links here in case you'd like to show one of these love. Also they were all pre-disqus so they don't have any comments, feel free to leave one: 21 views - 30x30 challenge week 4  -- I challenged myself to take part in the 30x30 challenge and recapped my fourth week. 24 views - SuperSunday VII at our place  --a get-together with my English-speaking moms group, but the partners are invited too! 29 views - Schwerin  -- Our first trip of the year was to visit Schwerin Castle, I talk very littl...

Five Friday Favorites and a diy ghost decoration

I figured I haven't posted enough this month so i'm ending the day with a five on Friday post. here are five things that have been happening recently: 1) No School That's right, school started last month and we already have our first couple of weeks off, they call it herbst farien  (Fall Break). But since Pablo is using up his vacation days in December we weren't able to go on vacation. instead we've been doing things around the city. 2) DIY Ghost Decorations Like we usually do when Avi doesn't have class we went to storytime at the library. But this time since it's close to Halloween they ladies had a craft prepared for the kids (and adults) to do in between the two books they read. I'm sharing the material list and steps with you: Materials: Aluminum foil sheets Tissues/Napkins String Permanent Marker. Directions: 1. Start with the ghost's head, by making a ball with an aluminum foil sheet. 2. Place the ball in the cente...

While I might not ad my favorites every Friday I try to do it once a month,  Here are five updates from this week: ONE  We finally took out a library card... after spending 3 days a week in the library and (we'll continue to do so until Avi starts preschool in exactly ONE month) it was about time. Plus, I need it to use their WiFi.  TWO  Pablo had to go to Bremen for work, and Avi and I tagged along, taking advantage that she's on vacation. We had already visited, but it was nice to get to walk around and explore new parts, I'll post about it soon enough. THREE  My cousin that was visiting is back, he was taking a summer course in a nearby city, but that's over and now we get to go to Munich! I'm super excited, as this is a city on my bucket list , and since we will be in the area we are considering doing a day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle. When in Bavaria... FOUR One more week of vacation, we haven't been able to go to the beach sinc...

Here are five things that have happened in the past week, to keep you up to date. Pablo's graduation It was such an amazing thing, and a bit boring, but being that it was held in German it kept me awake trying to follow along and everything.   Me on Facebook: yesterday was Pablo's graduation ceremony (3 hours long) and at the begining we couldn't find him when they entered the auditorium to take their place and Avi was bummed. :/ 2 hours later when it was his turn to stand in line to get his diploma Avi finally saw him and was happy waving at him... He was actually the third one in line (from his study program) but the first two were absent and they called their names and nobody went... but when they finally called Pablos name we started cheering for him and then Avi yells really loud "PA-PAA" and everyone started laughing and while we were in line for the buffet a lady asked if she was the little girl who yelled "papa" and tha...

It has been a great week, Mother's day was Sunday and yesterday was Father's day in Germany. I really should write about this because it's very different to what we're used to.. We didn't do a gift exchange because of the big move coming up, but we're okay with it.  Here are my five favorite things from this past week: - 1 -  A photo posted by diana L. (@xxdinlo88) on May 11, 2015 at 2:26am PDT It was raining so much our first few days in Hamburg while apartment hunting, I'm glad that stopped and we've been able to enjoy a couple of sunny days (and waking up at 6 am thanks to the early sunrise). - 2 -   Avi and I visited a lot of potential apartments, then Pablo took a couple of his vacation days to come be with us and we went to go see more, On Tuesday I received a call from one of the Makler that we got one of the apartments we had seen the day before, that was probably the highlight of the week! - 3 - A lot...
