A view from the top.

Happy Sunday! So later today we'll be going to meet up with other english speaking families in the northern part of Hamburg, it'll be fun! In todays post I will be talking about our recent visit to Montparnasse in Paris.

After we took the walking tour we bought a ticket to go up; we figured it was a better option than going up the eiffel tower because we would be able to capture the tower amongst other Parisian beauties!

Tour Montparnasse is a 210-metre office skyscraper located in the Montparnasse area of Paris, France. (Wikipedia) it offers indoor and outdoor viewing decks. we arrived at around 6 pm and there was no queue. We spend most of the time in the panoramic floor (level 56) because it was pretty windy in the terrace (level 59).
Here are a couple of pictures that we took from the top

I do recommend you take a sweater it is quite windy up there!

We thought "oh yeah lets go up there so we can see the eiffel tower all illuminated", too soon! If you're traveling on a budget like we were I recommend you pack a dinner and eat on the rooftop (oder so), because they do have a restaurant but it was too expensive for us. Another option is to eat dinner first and come here later like right before 21:45 and stay until 23:30.

We ended up staying until 9:00 pm and then leaving to go eat dinner and headed towards the Esplanade du Trocadéro to view the lit up eiffel tower.
re

yepp, as you can tell we haven't mastered our night photography skills (at least we come out okay), over all it was really pretty experience,

Linking up with Sunday Traveler.
